Power Generation Conference 2009
The Collective Renaissance Guild (CRG) retained AW Media Group to provide event publicity for the 2009 Power Generation Conference 3-day event.
On Saturday, September 5, 2009, CRG in partnership with the Woodruff Arts Center and the Andrew Young Foundation challenged Generation X to answer President Barack Obama’s call to service by hosting the inaugural Power Generation Conference 2009; a one-day interactive event featuring the Speak Out Marketplace (3 p.m. – 7 p.m.) and the Power Forum Awards Ceremony (7 p.m. – 8:30 p.m.). Held at the prestigious Woodruff Arts Center, over 1800 attendees came out to explore various non-profit organizations for service and social entrepreneurship.
Highlight’s of the evening:
• Speak Out Marketplace: Hip Hop superstar Ludacris and Revered Joseph E Lowery presented Jamie Foxx with the Phoenix Award
• Power Forum Awards: The Collective Renaissance Guild honored Ambassador Andrew Young for civic service and André 3000 for artistic innovation
